BP cut corners to save millions of dollars and ended up spending billions of dollars in cleanup and compensation.
The only way to get BP to pay attention and learn is to kick them in the wallet.

I doubt if the oil companies have learned anything exept new ways to avoid responsibility.
How many now have emergency plans filed with the government that no longer thing walrus live in the Gulf of Mexico or expect to consult with their expert by ouija board because the "expert consultants" have been dead for years?
