Stations that sell fuel to large trucks, such as Flying J, Pilot, Joe's Junction, etc. post a diesel price that is not available to those that buy diesel fuel for cars or small trucks. The posted price is for commercial trucks that are Exempt from certain road taxes. This amounts to a difference somewhere around 10 cents. I believe that some locations, for example, Joe's Junction, also charge a higher mark-up for auto diesel fuel.
At some locations, you have to go to the diesel pump at the auto islands to see what the auto diesel price is. It is usually 10 to 30 cents higher than Truck fuel.
