Please become my Gas Buddy.

Hi, I liked your comment regarding the article on Obama ending tax breaks for big oil. -- So many have a preconceived idea that, as you said in your Nov. 5th comment to Uncle Curt about people not reading articles (below), they write a knee jerk response on what they think the article says. My feelings are many don't read passed the headline, and don't even read the snippet.

Regarding comments on the Article about minimizing the Risk of a Blowout. Believe me BP when it gets the total bill for this accident will know it needs to do more for safety and cleanup. And so will every other oil company. The only problem is this will have the effect of reducing the supply of oil in the future and raise the price of all products made from oil including gas. But safety is very important and having a extremely better preventative plan and cleanup plan in place is needed.

The pipeline leak at Prudhoe continues to leak - at 2 gallons per hour. This pales compared to natural seeps in the area leaking oil to the surface for the past couple million years.

Thanks for article compliment on "Clean Energy to Boost US Manufacturing Jobs-Study." I discovered weeks back that 3 out of 79 read an article since I accidentally put in the wrong link to one when submitting multiple articles at once and I had confused my self with too many articles to keep track of. I looked at the comments of those who caught the mistake.

You are so right, as a few of us have pointed the abundance of ignorance here is astounding, even alarming and shows a counter productive stance that destroys any real hope of that anyone has the capacity to change this unsustainable way of life for the greater good of the future.

Great post in "Plug-in hybrid maker Fisker Automotive gets $529" about the "unbelievable" responses from people that supposedly read the articles. Your intelligence is much needed in the forums, it gives us all hope against the mass of unbelievable people.

Your right Climate issue just drew so many out and get on top soap boxes and preach. Good comment on the "BrightSource" topic about building somewhere else.

Thank you so much for your insightful and sensitive comments on the Syncrude .. Ducks Tarsands story.
I was afraid nobody on GB would "get it" .
Thanks for restoring my faith that there may be intelligent life on this planet ;0)
