So just how long would those gasoline and oil inventories last??? How many barrels of oil and gasoline does the US use in a day? Unless you are a Speculator, these numbers are meaningless

Oil inventory up 2.5% over last year and refineries are only at 86% capacity. Tells you where the bottleneck is and why prices remain up.

If you don't refine the oil, refined product like gas supplies drop. Of course this is government counting.

you can't get gas inventories up with refineries closing, and those open, only operating at 80%. Oh, that's right, big oil knows that.

With higher inventories and higher prices than last year, they'll have to look for another reason than supply and demand.

More crude inventory and less gasoline inventory = the need for more refineries.

Oil inventories are up. Gas inventories are down. Unless you look at the same time last year then they are up. Does any one really know. Just askin.
