OIl's surging back up again, almost at $120 right now thanks to a faltering economy and weak dollar. I think the downward trend is over!

Prices will have their ups and downs from day to day, but it's been one step up and two steps down lately trending in the right direction. Canada is following in lockstep with the U.S.

If we spent the effort getting more domestic oil than speculating we would be better off.

Pump prices have finely come down here. Fell from $4.02 to $3.89. Now I see that oil has jumped back to $118.00. I suspect prices will go up now!

Pump prices can't keep falling if crude prices are rising again, and OPEC is dropping production as well. What was the closing price of crude yesterday?

In Lubbock, TX, 40 miles from us, the prices are in $3.40s, but "Greed Masters" are keeping prices at least .20 here in Post.

Prices are falling... but we havent changed our consumption habits. As soon as prices fell below $4 here, all the gas-gizzling, super big pick up trucks came out on the road again.

Prices need to fall, its causing airlines to close and changes availability, public buses to strike and general people don't travel near as much any more.

I just look at the signs as I am driving and that tells me the price is going down. But Minnesota is seeing better prices then NY State. We are at 3.65 for reg but the diesel is still 4.57 down from 5.97. Price of food and other items will just keep going up.

Did we all have to wait for the "weekly report" to confirm this mere pitance of a drop?
