This is a relatively new science news podcast focusing on microbes, but is unusual in that it does not focus much on disease-causing microbes. It has some interesting news stories.

Episode 1 of BacterioFiles

The stories this episode are about a possible symbiosis between plant-eating ants and microbes; a type of engineered bacteria that produce energy rich compounds and can self-destruct on command to release those compounds for human use; and a description of a type of immune system that some microbes have.
