I didn't know there was going to be a plug-in. Where did you see info on it?

I am waiting for the 2010 Vue Greenline Plug-in. I am going to be one of the first to order one as soon as I can.

Last weekend I went upstate NY from Long Island to my daughters campsite. Got 30 mpg on the trip up and 37.86 mpg (new high for the car) on the trip down. Lots of hills and a half hour in stop and go traffic on the trip home. Very happy with the Vue, I have a bad back and the lumbar support helps a lot. My average for the year so far is over 25 mpg (better than my 01 Malibu was). On the trip down I hit 81 on the way down some hills to give me the momentum to get up the next one. We've done 3 trips to Maryland and one upstate and have not used a drop of oil or water yet. Great truck!!!

I've had mine since May of '07. I love the car, its great for a road trip. Have taken it on three road trips so far.
Since I've had the car my average gas mileage is 29.4. I do a lot of in town driving and some short trips so the mileage runs around 25 to 28 mpg in town. On the road I typically get between 29 and 35 mpg, depending on terrain, wind and amount of highway driving. I did get as high as 37 mpg on one tank, but that was keeping in the slow lane on the highway and running around 60 mph.
Warmer weather definitely helps with the mileage.

Saturn replaced the ignition lock assembly once. Since you mentioned the keys I looked at mine and my wife's and they are slightly different, hers works a little better then mine. I'll be going back to Saturn.

Mine's not a Greenline, but the ignition key was sticking every once in a while. Had to wiggle the steering wheel to get it to release. I compared it with the spare a couple days ago and a couple lobes are chewed right off! Local mechanic says that will teachme not to hang stuff on the keychain with your car keys....

Sounds good; thanks for the info!
By the way, you might want to try the Vue forums at SaturnFans.com; there's quite a large community of Saturn owners and perhaps someone there would be able to help regarding your question about the sticking ignition key.

MrWhsprs, overall very good. When I first got it the check engine light came on a couple of times. Dirty injectors both times. I was told not to use Hess or Getty (I was using Hess). Stopped using Hess 9 months ago and no more light issues. We just got back from Maryland, didn't use a drop of any fluids and averaged 30.5 mpg. Very happy with the car!!!

Hi Black Thndr:
When we picked up the Vue it was raining and rained for the next 3 days and almost every 3rd day after that, for a black car it dried fairly clean. Pretty good for a black car, we love it. Your right about the 2008. I saw a video of it at the SEMA show. The front looks like one big piece of molded plastic and there's a funny looking grill on the front fender just behind the front wheel. The dash is no better. Three big round chrome vents right in the middle of the dash above the radio, not nice. If you do decide to get one good luck with it, I'm sure you will like it.

Mickey:
For the last several months, I'd been looking at the Saturn Relay, but the more I looked at the monthly payments, the more out of reach the Relay seemed (I wanted the Relay 3, the top-of-the-line model). Now it looks like the Vue GreenLine may be for me. In case you haven't noticed, black is my favorite color! *lol*
You got one at the right time! The redesigned 2008 Vue coming later this year looks butt ugly!!!!!
